Interior designer, Evelyn Benatar, a vendor on Vedere and founder of New York Interior Design, Inc, is embarking on a much-anticipated “camp” for teens and adults that will kick off on August 13.

Interior Design Camp NYC offers week-long programs for teens and adults, giving aspiring designers the ability to purchase magnificent furniture, rugs and more with the expert help of an interior designer.

This “camp” is the first of its kind and this year is the first season. “We are very excited to get it off the ground!,” Benatar tells Vedere.

The program gives “campers” the opportunity to discuss topics ranging from furniture placement to wall coverings and will get to learn how to “build” a kitchen. At the end of the program, participants will work on a personal interior design project.

On the last day of camp, there will be an event dinner at the glamorous Astra Cafe atop the famous D&D Building.

“The most rewarding aspect will be teaching the “campers” all the behind the scene secrets of the design trade,” share Benatar.
