Tim and Kit Kemp have crossed the pond into New York City with the Crosby Street Hotel marks the first American venture of their celebrated Firmdale hotel group. An impressive 11-story construction, built from scratch on the site of a former parking lot boasts an interior look that is classically elegant and quirky yet entirely cozy.

Andi Pepper, Gansevoort Park is the second Gansevoort Hotel Group outpost created after the original location in New York City’s Meatpacking District helped to transform that area from gritty to chic. The three-story atrium lobby showcases striking herringbone granite floors, an oversized fireplace, and dramatic aubergine chandeliers.
